About Yuqi (Sarah)
Sarah is a PhD student and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. She works under the mentorship of Dr. Fanita Tyrell in the Resilient Adaptation Across Culture and Context Lab. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019, she spent three years working as a lab manager at Pitt, studying adolescent depression. Sarah's current research interests focus on the patterns and mechanisms through which interpersonal, identity-related stress influences the development of emotional health in adolescent immigrants of color. Outside of school, she likes to lift weights, try new restaurants, and watch a wide variety of Netflix & HBO shows.
