Tara is a second-year student in the School Psychology PhD program at UMD. She graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Education and Child Policy Research. Tara conducted post baccalaureate research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in the Center for Management of ADHD where she coordinated several school-based randomized controlled trials aimed at enhancing social, behavioral, and academic outcomes for children with ADHD and related challenges.

Tara is a member of the Risk, Resilience, and Culture Lab within the Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Special Education at UMD. Her research interests include school-based interventions that support students with behavioral and learning difficulties and the impact of peer relationships.
