About Sophia

Sophia recently received her Master's of Professional Studies in Clinical Psychological Science, graduating in November, 2022. She also graduated from The George Washington University with a BA in Psychology in the spring of 2021. She worked previously in the social psychology lab at GWU, where she conducted studies and assisted doctoral students with their research. She has also co-authored a sociology publication in Deviance Today Journal, with another publication on the way later this year. Her research interests include parental influences on youth with anxiety and depression. She works as a coordinator for the TPAC program (UMD ADHD Lab). In June 2023, she also started a research coordinator position at FIU’s Center for Children and Families. In her free time, she likes to sing, paint, draw, and hang out with her dog, Piper.
