About Abby

Abby Flower, M.S.

Abby is a Research Coordinator with the University of Maryland and Children's National TPAC program. Abby graduated from the University of Dayton with her B.S. in Psychology and minor in Biology in 2021. She recently graduated from the University of Maryland's Masters in Clinical Psychological Sciences Program and has previously been involved in research projects examining cognitive components of aesthetic preferences, veteran caregivers and suicidality, and emerging adults and parental involvement. Abby's current research interests include externalizing behaviors, empathy, and parental warmth as well as the impact of early caregiver environments on child behaviors. She hopes to pursue these interests through a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Outside of her research interests, Abby enjoys hiking, reading, writing, and art in any form.
