About Melia

Melia is a first year graduate student in the MPS in Clinical Psychological Science program. She graduated from Appalachian State University with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, with minors in Social Work and Communication Sciences and Disorders. Upon graduation, Melia spent the summer in Dubois, Wyoming at a summer camp serving children and teens with ADHD and other learning disorders. Melia has an interest in how ADHD manifests across the lifespan, improving the accessibility of mental health treatments, along with improving the different strategies that can be used to manage ADHD. In her spare time, Melia enjoys hiking, reading, and scrapbooking.
