About Dr. Rooney

Dr. Rooney earned her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2010 after completing her predoctoral internship at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Rooney is currently a Program Officer in the Division of Services and Interventions Research at NIMH where she manages a portfolio focused child and adolescent interventions research. Dr. Rooney has extensive experience in providing evidence-based treatments for ADHD, and has conducted federally-funded research focused on clinical and academic outcomes in this population.
