About Kayla

Kayla graduated from UMD with a dual B.S. degree in Psychology and Human Development in May 2024. Now, she is pursuing her Master’s of Professional Studies in Clinical Psychological Sciences at UMD. She currently serves as a lab coordinator for Dr. De Los Reyes’ CAIP lab, where she researches social anxiety and evaluative fears in adolescents. Her research interests include resilience and developmental psychopathology of internalizing disorders. In her free time, Kayla likes to play volleyball and videos games, or hang out with her cats.
