About Ife
Ife is a post-bacc faculty research coordinator for the TPAC program under Dr.Andrea Chronis-Tuscano. She graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in May 2024. Previously, they worked as an undergraduate research assistant under a Clinical psychologist at Howard University looking to understand the impact/effects of vicarious and personal racial discrimination on alcohol consumption in college students.
Ife’s research interests lie in the intersection of cultural psychology and the development of children and adolescents, with a particular focus on understanding how ethnic-cultural environments shape the experiences and outcomes of children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds
They hope to pursue a career in Clinical psychology working to improve mental health care for low-income and minority communities. In her free time, she likes to take walks around the neighborhood and eat good food!
