About Hemakshi

Hemakshi (she/her) is the project coordinator for the Growth And Resilience across Development (GARD) Lab at UMD. She recently graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Psychology and a Certificate in Education Studies. Hemakshi is passionate about clinical work and research that boost individuals' social-emotional wellbeing and support families in supporting their kids, particularly in the context of anxiety disorders and ADHD. In her free time, Hemakshi enjoys listening to music, playing with her dog, and taking care of plants.
