About Dr. Jones
Erin R. Jones, Ph.D., is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School Psychology Program at the University of Maryland, College Park, and a licensed psychologist in Maryland. She previously served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychology and Co-Director of the UMD SUCCEEDS College ADHD Clinic. She continues to support SUCCEEDS as a clinical supervisor and consultant. In her work with the program, Dr. Jones has supervised graduate student clinicians, supported clinic operations and service delivery, expanded graduate training opportunities, and helped strengthen campus and community resources for neurodivergent college students.
Dr. Jones’s clinical, teaching, and scholarly interests focus on neurodivergence, masking, emotional and relational factors that shape student well-being, and the development of accessible supports across school and college settings. She is especially interested in culturally responsive supervision and intervention, program development and evaluation, and training models that help graduate students provide practical, affirming, and responsive care.
Dr. Jones has worked across K–12 schools, adult education, higher education, and clinical training settings. She previously served as an Exceptional Children Teacher and Department Chair in Warsaw, North Carolina; an Adult Secondary Educator in Southeast Washington, DC; an ADHD/LD Learning Coach at UNC Chapel Hill; and a Teach For America Corps Member Coach and Exceptional Children Content Lead in Eastern North Carolina. These experiences continue to shape her commitment to helping students access the structure, support, and understanding they need to thrive.
