About Brenna

Brenna is a student in UMD’s M.P.S in Clinical Psychological Sciences program. She received her B.A in Psychology with a concentration in mental health from Stockton University in 2023. In addition to her B.A., Brenna completed an undergraduate thesis studying how parenting styles and birth order can contribute to the onset of perfectionism. Her current research interests include the impact of the family dynamic across the lifespan, determining potential risk factors for the onset of perfectionistic traits, and the influence of maladaptive social media usage. Additionally, she has volunteered in the Children’s Learning Lab at Stockton University,
where she collected and analyzed data pertaining to how three and four
year old children perceive food as natural or man-made. In her free
time, she likes to read, try new recipes, explore new places, and hang
out with her five dogs
